THE LOCALS | ILLUSTRATION
Since 2019, I’ve been part of an ongoing project dedicated to and promoting the Bulgarian intangible cultural heritage through the design and illustrations of series of prints and postcards.
The various topics of the series include cultural traditions and folklore, historical monuments and architecture. Each illustration tells a local story about ancient traditions or typical crafts still thriving to this day.
The visual identity and packaging we created were informed by the visual language of postage materials. The hand-written messages and a custom-made stamp with the logo added a personal touch to the branding.
