Mycolever is a platform for alternative protein production from fungi. The cultivation of fungi is considered one of the most promising ways to produce alternative food, sustainable packaging, new materials for fashion and construction and many more. As mushrooms have the amazing properties to grow really fast, so the new platform holds the promise of unlimited potential to nurture and grow the production of alternative bio-based materials for the future.
Centering around this notion of unlimited potential to grow, the visual identity makes a bold statement through the use of motion-powered brand symbol and dynamic typography treatment for the key messages. The wordmark and the symbol are designed with fine balance between scientific precision and organic nature taking cues from the soft round shapes found in mushrooms. The color palette consists of natural earthy tones and uplifting vibrant green which was inspired by the bioluminescent properties of some mushrooms.
Confident and optimistic visual style and the use of striking photography in combination with bold graphics reflects the brand’s vision and ambition to play a leading role in sustainable innovation and biosciences.
